TexConnect Sports Information llc. is a licensed distributor of the new college sports recruiting app 'Sportsthread'. With it, High school athletes can promote themselves to thousands of colleges and coaches to get the opportunities they dream of, easier and faster than ever. Starting from the ground up, TexConnect needed a brand identity and web presence to reflect its mission of helping young Texas athletes.
The new identity and branding for TexConnect represents its purpose as a company; to put the ball in YOUR court. The logo mimics the shape of most courts and fields to drive this idea home, while the color and typeface selections round out the trademark with a sporty feel.
To further connect with the company's target audience, a website was built that focused on the benefits of the Sportsthread app and its many features. It broke down how much easier the college recruiting process could become, in an effort to generate excitement and drive traffic to Sportsthreads' homepage or iTunes to download the app.
